How you can help save Tidewater's History

Tidewater is rich in history, but many underfunded sites throughout the region are at risk. Without support, these sites and their stories will be lost forever. You can help support us in three simple ways: donating, following and sharing our work, and volunteering your time.

Small donations under 100 dollars add us quickly. These small donations allow us to purchase the necessary materials for repair, such as specialized paint, bricks, and windows. These items keep buildings weatherproof and safe. Mid-level donations of around 100-500 dollars can help pay technicians or specialists for small specialized repairs. This might include window repair, masonry work, or paint maintenance. Finally, large corporate donations of over 1000 dollars allow us to take on large structural projects such as stabilizing foundations and repairing roofs, which ensures that these buildings remain standing for future generations.

We understand that not everyone can donate money, but everyone can spread the word. By following our social media and sharing our posts, more people will discover our mission. Many small initiatives struggle because not enough people know about them.
