What is Tidewater Historical Restoration Initiative?
From Jamestown’s shores to Civil War battlefields, the Tidewater region is rich in history. Our organization emerged when we realized our most cherished local landmarks were crumbling into obscurity due to a lack of support. Moved by the sight of collapsing history, we sought to turn neglect into revitalization. We understood that passion alone could not save these walls; it required a strategic nonprofit framework to manage complex engineering tasks and organize the large-scale financial support essential for preserving the rich soul of Tidewater’s unique architectural past.
